The confirmed news of Apple acquiring an Israeli company that produces sensors that makes gadgets more interactive triggered more speculations about the coming iPhone 6 features. Now, the latest rumors say it could carry the 3D technology.

Many observers said that Apple may use PrimeSense for a device that is similar to a television. However, there are arguments like that of James McQuivey that Apple's vision may be set "beyond the living room," Huffington Post wrote. The Prime Sense is the technology built that makes up the motion sensor features of the Xbox Kinect. The said acquisition allegedly reached about $350 million.

According to Wall St Cheat Sheet, it was Reuters who first reported on Apple acquiring PrimeSense but without sharing the details about its future plans with the move. The most logical use of the sensors fit a possible next generation Apple TV but it can level up a bit more if it will place it in the coming iPhone 6. This can be possible since McQuivey noted how the chip of the PrimeSense are made smaller through the years, making it possible to fit even a smart phone.

McQuivey's vision of the 3D technology for the iPhone 5 include the possible inclusion of a tool that can sense or detect 3D technology to be used for taking pictures of things, items and people. The 3D tool is the one to assess the details of the captured image including the mass.

Amazon is also speculated to be planning to make a phone that can detect in 3D. The similar rumors point to a new and high end phone to be released by Amazon that will come with four cameras and a software that can perform facial recognition.

IBTimes wrote that another possible use of Apple for PrimeSense is to enhance or improve the company's map application.
