In the upcoming 10th episode of "Empire," "Sins of the Father," Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) and the Lyon family continue their feud with Lucious' competitor Billy Barretti (Judd Nelson), who has attempted to sabotage Lucious by allying with his fiancee, Anika (Grace Gealy), in the last episode, IBT reports.

In an attempt to take down Baretti's label, Lucious's son Jamal (Jussie Smollett) succeeds in persuading pop star, Delphine (Estelle) to sign to the Lyons' "Empire" label. Now that Delphine is an "Empire" artist, we can expect in the coming episode to see how Barretti takes the news and how it inevitably affects the Barretti label.

Meanwhile, Lucious's son Andre (Trai Byers) continues on his emotional downward spiral and seeks the help of musical therapist Michelle (Jennifer Hudson), who tries to help Jamal with his bipolar disorder.

But based on the show's promo trailer, we see that Andre and Michelle begin to form more than just a patient-teacher relationship. As Andre pursues a romance with Michelle, fans can expect to see how his wife reacts to Andre's affair.

The new episode will also feature a guest appearance by Mary J. Blige, who plays a singer and Lucious's old flame who will undoubtedly cause a rift in Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious's budding romance. Naomi Campbell will also make an appearance in this episode and will continue to ruffle Cookie's feathers due to her relationship with Cookie's son, Hakeem (Bryshere Gray).

As the drama unfolds in the romance between Cookie and Lucious, Cookie seeks love elsewhere in Lucious' security advisor, Malcolm (Derek Luke.) In Episode 9, Cookie attempted to make a move on Malcolm who declined her advances. However, in the upcoming episode, Malcolm reveals that he also has feelings for Cookie.

And for those wondering where Jamal's baby's mother, Olivia (Raven Symone), has been, she makes an appearance in this episode but it is unclear whether she will reclaim her daughter who she abandoned a few episodes prior, On the Flix reports.
