Bethenny Frankel's young daughter luckily escaped injury on Wednesday after running out into oncoming traffic in Manhattan.

According to RadarOnline, 44-year-old Frankel screamed in horror as 5-year-old Bryn darted out into the streets after her reality TV star mom had picked her up from school.

The website adds the little girl made it a few feet before a man safely stopped her. A grateful Frankel then marched her daughter straight for a waiting vehicle. At the time of the incident, Frankel had her hands full, carrying a backpack, toys and her daughter's coat.

HollywoodLife.com reports initially, Frankel was also holding her daughter's hand before the girl broke away and made her mad dash. After a four-year hiatus, Frankel recently announced she planned to return for Season 7 of the "Real Housewives of New York" reality show that first made her famous later this year.

Frankel previously starred on the show from its infancy through Season 3. Last year ratings for the show dipped to just 1 million viewers after a previous high average of almost three times that and bringing back Frankel is seen by many as a "last ditch effort" to save the show.

Since appearing on the show, Frankel has also launched a line of cocktails known as Skinnygirl and recently released a children's book. All she's touched, however, has not been golden.

Her daytime talk show was canceled in February of 2014 and she recently divorced from her second husband, Jason Hoppy, the father of young Bryn. The couple starred side by side for three seasons on a Bravo Network spin-off initially entitled "Bethenny Getting Married" and later known as "Bethenny Ever After."
