Lady Gaga transforms into Donatella Versace on a new ad announcing their collaboration. Does anybody else think is amazing how much Gaga actually looks like the lucrative designer? Well, a younger version of her, but let's not tell Donatella that. One thing is for sure; Lady Gaga looks absolutely stunning and classy in this new campaign where the "Paparazzi" becomes the face of Versace.

The Italian Fashion house said in a press release that "Lady Gaga completely captures the Versace essence: creative, experimental, fearless". She will be featured on Versace's Spring/Summer 2014 campaign where the "Do What U Want" singer poses for photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott as Donatella. Lady Gaga, an Italian American herself, "reclines on a sofa in a violet Versace dress paired with an armor-like harness of chains featuring the Versace medusa emblem and a pin straight long blonde wig". Mother Monster actually wore the dress with the blonde wig at the American Music Awards as she rode on her white horse, inspired by Bianca Jagger.

Gaga and Donatella even praised each other on Twitter, Gaga tweeting "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia. How exciting is for one of the world's most prestigious designer to tweet you back saying "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you". Ahhh! To top it off, the house of Versace has created a hastag on twiter reading "#VersaceLovesGaga. If you didn't think Lady Gaga was well established before now, now you know. Gaga will be the face of the SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, so get ready to see her on 5th Ave. in her Donatella look alike ads.
