More news about Samsung devices have been hovering over the Internet lately, especially with the upcoming Galaxy S5. According to recent reports, Samsung's new smart watch, Galaxy Gear 2, will arrive early next year with the Galaxy S5.

International Business Times Australia wrote that according to Korean website ET News, a Samsung official has confirmed that the Galaxy S5 will arrive together with the next version of the Galaxy Gear. The official who chose not to be named said that the smart watch will be "15% to 20% [better] than previous production" and will fit on users wrists better. The launch will pave 2014 as a big year for the South Korean tech company.

NewGalaxy5v.com noted that the first Galaxy Gear was introduced at the Galaxy Note 3 launch, amking it one of the biggest Samsung launches of 2013. However, the site also warned that the smart watch did not turn out as appealing as it was expected to be. But with news that the company will come up with version 2.0 of the device, Samsung only proves they won't give up without giving a good fight.

Rumors that surround the soon-to-be released smart watch include a thinner case and a more innovative interface and features. Notably, a much higher level of convenience and portability is what the Korean company will surely aim for.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2's release date, ET News' unnamed official did not spill any details, but it could lead to the possibility that it will be launched around the same time that the Galaxy S5 will be launched in March or April of next year, Tech Radar stated. The site added though that the smart watch may also just quickly follow after the launch of the S5 along with other gadget accessories.
