Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee is one of big stars to perform for the 26th annual Billboard Latin Music Awards airing live on Telemundo Apirl 30, according to Billboard.

Yankee has the most top 10s on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart with 30 songs. Artist Wisin will also perform this year and has been nominated for four awards.

Medellin native vallenato king Carlos Vives is nominated for New Artist of the Year for his breakout hit "6 a.m." as he represents Colombia.

Finalists in the Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year Female category, Ana Gabriel and Lucero, are also performing for this year's Latin Music Awards. Gabriel has 20 top 10s on the Hot Latin Songs Chart, making number three on the list after Gloria Estefan and Shakira.

Mexican power house Julion Alvarez y su Norteno Banda is up for six awards this year representing the Mexico region as he performs for the crowd.

The Latin Music Conference will start on April 27 ahead of the Awards ceremony where Romeo Santos will headline the event. Santos, known as the king of bachata, will discuss his album "Formula, Vol. 2" along with Billboard's Leila Cobo.

The bilingual Latino artist appeared on "Furious 7" and "Angry Birds" and had two sold out shows at the Yankee Stadium.
