Justin Bieber made headlines recently by modeling Calvin Klein underwear with model Lara Stone. It looks as if the Biebs and Stone were upstaged by late night host James Corden and soccer legend David Beckham who aired their own over-the-top underwear commercial on Monday night's "Late Late Show."

The 60 second black-and-white ad features Corden and Beckham modeling their fictional underwear line "D&J Briefs." The underwear line is designed "for a man with a great body," says Corden, "and David Beckham."

The underwear ad spoof celebrates the long-time friendship between the TV show host and former soccer player. In 2010, Beckham and Corden produced a video of them flower arranging, snuggling, hair-styling and sharing a bath together to raise money for charity.

The underwear ad parody was not the only amusement of the show. Beckham also shared details of his oldest son Brooklyn's first date. Brooklyn watched from the audience in embarrassment as his father told the story.

When Brooklyn was 14 and a half, he asked David if he could take his then girlfriend on a Valentine's Day dinner date. David checked with wife Victoria who said it was fine so long as David sat a nearby table to chaperone.

"I asked her, 'Really, you are going to make me do that?' and she said, 'Yes. It is the only way I will let him go,'" David explained.

"So we took him to a small sushi restaurant and he sat at the sushi bar and I sat about five tables back. By the way, my daughter is 4 years old. When she gets to that age, I will be closer than that!"

Brooklyn, now 16, is aspiring to follow in his dad's footsteps as a professional soccer player. This season, he has been playing for Arsenal's Under 16s in London.

David Beckham appeared alongside Claire Danes and Bob Odenkirk on Monday night's "Late Late Show."
