Mexico and Paraguay will continue their preparations for the big tournaments this summer Tuesday in an international friendly.

Mexico is looking to continue a run of fine form as it comes off a 1-0 win over Ecuador over the weekend. That game featured a number of unique stories including Javier Hernandez scoring the lone goal of the game. Chicharito has faced a lot of controversy over the years despite being seen as Mexico's top star. He currently sits on the bench at Real Madrid and has struggled to find a consistent role with the defending European champs. However, that goal should give him greater confidence moving forward.

The other big story in the game was Jose Corona who, for the moment, has won back the starting position on the team. Corona was left on the bench last summer as Guillermo Ochoa dominated the World Cup for the national side. It looked like a corner had been turned for "Memo," but the player has struggled to find playing time in Spain. The result was that he lost the starting gig in the Ecuador game and could spend more time on the bench against Paraguay.

Mexico enters the match with a record of five wins, one loss and one draw since being eliminated from the World Cup by the Netherlands in the round of 16.

Paraguay, on the other hand, has been woeful for a number of years since being second in the Copa America. The team has just three wins in its last 15. Those victories have come against Peru, Bolivia and Cameroon, all teams in admittedly poor form. The team is coming off a 0-0 draw with Costa Rica and is hoping to build on that game ahead of the Copa America.

Mexico holds a record of seven wins, five draws and four losses against Paraguay.

Predictions

Mexico wins 2-0 and Chicharito adds another goal.
