Adamari Lopez's fans are getting their first views at baby Alaia Costa Lopez in the latest issue of People En Español.

Lopez and Alaia are featured on the cover of the magazine in a picture said to have been taken just hours after the baby was born March 4

Lopez was very happy to give birth to a healthy baby girl. Lopez was diagnosed with Stage I breast cancer in 2005. The actress underwent a successful partial mastectomy and chemotherapy to treat the cancer.

"My daughter is a miracle from God," Lopez said.

Lopez told People En Español that she knows her new baby will take time away from her work.

Lopez and her fiance Toni Costa met on the dancing show "Mira Quien Baila." Lopez has joked that her daughter will be born with dancing skills.

"I am so happy with this baby that definitely dances. It is a thing that I just don't know how it is going to be. I am going to welcome it with lots of happiness, love and energy," she told Telemundo, according to Mamás Latinas, in September.

In addition to the cover picture of Lopez and her new daughter, People En Español has exclusive, never-before-seen pictures of Alaia.

Lopez has told her friends and co-workers that they all will be her baby's aunts and uncles. It was the theme she used to announce Alaia's birth when she posted a picture of toy letters spelling out "Ya todos somos tios" along with the top of the head of Alaia with a hat on.

Lopez and Costa knew the sex of Alaia for months. They decided in November to follow tradition and name the baby starting with the letter A.
