It has been 20 years since Latinos lost iconic singer Selena.

On this day, many Latino stars remember Selena, who was shot and killed just two weeks before her 24th birthday, Billboard reports.

Pop singer Jennifer Lopez, who starred as Selena in the 1997 biopic, said Selena moved "the world in a different way" and that "she was gone way too soon."

Lopez explained, "It has always bugged me that people would try to think that there's a 'next Selena.' People like that don't come along every day. There is never going to be another Selena."

Latin artist Becky G made a reference to the "Selena" biopic via Instagram. She captioned the famous line, "Anything for Selenassssss."

Meanwhile, Adrienne Bailon paid tribute to the late Selena performing onstage for the first time in six years.

She posted a video via Twitter of her checking the mic for her performance with the caption, "PART 1 - Sound check for my performance of Selena's 'I could fall in love.' #RIPSELENA #SiempreSelena."

Bailon also posted an Instagram photo with Selena's sister, Suzette Quintanilla, promoting her performance on My Fox Orlando for "The Real" show.

Quintanilla matched her post thanking Adrienne Bailon and "The Real" for paying tribute to Selena.

"Well Well @adrienne_bailon look at us! Girl thank you and everyone at THE REAL for showing mad love to me and to the one who ties all of us together with her incredible voice... Selena!" she captioned.

Suzette also posted an Instagram photo of Selena performing in the past, and she took the opportunity to thank Telemundo for their support.

Venezuelan actress Majorie de Sousa paid tribute to Selena via Instagram saying that she will be singing in her honor on April 18.
