Wednesday’s Powerball is here.

Last Saturday’s winning number were: 2, 4, 6, 12 and 38, and the Powerball was 17. Since there was no big-time winner, the money has rolled over.

There were however 434,833 regular winners, and $5,958,222 non-jackpot prizes won.

Potential Powerball players have a shot at $50 million, with a cash value of $34 million.

Perhaps all the Powerball luck just temporarily settled across the pond.

Last Friday, A U.K. couple won £1m in the EuroMillions lottery for the second time, and they, along with everyone else, “just can’t believe it.”

David and Kathleen Long, a couple who won their initial £1m in 2013, beat out odds of more than 283 billion to one to become serial jackpot winners.

As reported in the Guardian, a spokesman for the U.K. National Lottery said: “This is an extraordinary situation where somebody’s been fortunate enough to win twice. As you can imagine, we see winners who win once who are very, very shocked. It must be even more shocking to win twice.”

But David Long was actually not so shocked, saying he just “knew” he would win again. “I always knew I’d win, even the first time. I just had a feeling it was going to be me. I tend to play when I know there are lots of prizes on the go,” said lucky Long.

The award turns out to have been the 10th biggest EuroMillions jackpot won in the U.K.

The fellow and his wife also won a Jaguar.

Well, back in the states, Powerball players have a 1 in 175,223,510.00 of winning the Grand Prize, or they could always just play it safe and try to double their money, as there is a 1 in 55.41 chance in winning $4 with a $2 ticket.
