"East Lost High" is adding some impressive additions to its already Daytime Emmy-nominated cast.

Not only has singer/actress Christina Milian been added, but the popular Hulu original series is welcoming Oscar-nominated actress Catalina Sandino Moreno and Revolution's JD Pardo.

"Moreno is set to play Carmen, the strong and loving mother of the Bomb Squad's new heartthrob, Eddie (played by Carlito Olivero). She will do anything to give her son the best life possible despite the odds against her - she's undocumented and her health is deteriorating. When forced to decide between her son's future or her own, Carmen will need to muster more courage than ever before," Latina reports.

"Pardo will play Jesus, the dangerous newcomer with a mysterious past. Camila (played by Vanessa Vasquez) is forced to work with the sexy bad boy and soon discovers there is more to Jesus than she imagined."

As for Milian, she will reportedly play "Liliana, a 'kick-ass' music producer at R&R Records who becomes Camila's (Vannessa Vasquez) mentor. While showing Camila the ins and out of the music business, Liliana realizes she might need to guide her new apprentice in more ways than either expected."

What else can audiences expect from "East Los High" Season 3?

"This summer "East Los High" returns for its third season hotter than ever. The Bomb Squad dance team steps up their game with some unexpected new team members and the addicted romance, sex and mystery story lines fills the halls of East Los High once again.

"Ceci and the Bomb Squad made it to the regional finals but what will she say 'I do' in season 3? And, Camila's father is back in her and Gina's life - what road will this lead her down on?"

Last week, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations, which included three Daytime Emmy nominations for "East Los High." Actresses Vanessa Vasquez and Daniella Vega were also nominated for "Best Actress for New Approaches to a Drama Series" for their portrayals of Camila Barrios and Ceci Camay.

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will air live exclusively on Pop from the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank on Sunday, April 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST / 5:00 p.m. PST.
