James Rodriguez is enjoying his time with his baby daughter, as he recovers from a foot injury.

He posted a photo via Instagram, where he held her on his shoulders as he was walking on a sunny day.

Rodriguez posted another Instagram photo with his daughter, as she peacefully slept next to him.

"Mi noche, my night," he captioned the photo.

The soccer player returned to Real Madrid's starting lineup after a two-month injury absence where he had a broken bone in his foot, Reuters reports. He played for Sunday's La Liga game at home against Granada.

"James is fine and will start the match tomorrow," Coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Saturday.

Midfielder Sami Khedira and full back Dani Carvajal were rested as Rodriguez returned. The team has lost three of its last four matches in all competitions.

Rodriguez sustained his injury in the league game against Sevilla in February and has had a successful season since joining Real from Manaco back in July. The Colombia midfielder came back in time to replace Spain midfielder Isco after his suspension.

If Coach Ancelotti completely drops Isco, the team would receive a lot more criticism since he is a major favorite amongst fans.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's Gareth Bale was forced out of Tuesday's training session because of a broken toe, EuroSport reports according to Marca.

Speculation is that Bale's season may be over since it took Rodriguez two months to recover from a similar injury.

Recent polls voted Bale as one of the team's most disposable players by 31 percent making his injury a blessing in disguise.

Since Rodriguez is back, Bale would not have to face the embarrassment of being dropped from Ancelotti's starting 11.

Speculation is that the injury might save Bale's Read Madrid career since the pressure of playing better this season would be off.

The poll suggested that Bale be dropped to better the chances of Rodriguez and Isco getting on the team.
