Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez's situation remains rather dire in Europe. The Mexican has struggled to find himself as a starter for Real Madrid this season, but more importantly, he is barely playing for the defending European champs.

He is undoubtedly leaving Spain's capital at the close of the year as his loan spell from Manchester United comes to an end. But it is also unlikely he will return to his parent club, where he has been equally limited in his playing time.

This has led to many speculating what could come of the Mexican star, who at 26 should be in his prime.

The latest rumors have Chicharito heading to the MLS where Orlando City SC is apparently interested in purchasing his scoring prowess.

The new MLS franchise is looking to make a huge impact in its new home and is already led by the legendary Kaka. But many are already stating that the side is going to struggle with scoring goals.

Chicharito is a born scorer who has seen his number dwindle with lessened playing time. On 2010-11, at the age of 22, he put up 13 goals in England. He put up 10 goals in each of the following years but saw his minutes decrease. That coupled with his own confidence in front of goal doomed him as a starter for United and last year he played just 840 minutes for the team and put up a paltry four goals and two assists.

That seemed to spell the end of his time for United and he was promptly shipped to Real Madrid where he has three goals and one assist in only 246 minutes for Los Blancos. Moreover, he has just one start and two of those three goals came in the last 15 minutes of an 8-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna.

That said, Chicharito is among the elite scorers on Mexico's national side and has tied Cuauhtemoc Blanco as the team's top scorer with 39 strikes; he is just seven goals away from all-time scorer Jared Borgetti.
