As Saturday approaches, fans get closer to Episode 10 of Starz’s “Outlander." What can we expect from this episode? Apparently, a lot, since some characters previously mentioned are now making an appearance and it could be that Jamie’s life is once again in danger.

Titled “By the Picking of my Thumbs,” Episode 10 continues the story of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) through the 18th century Scottish highlands. In the preview released by Starz earlier this week we get a hint of what to expect.

The Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) finally appears on the show. Introduced by Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) Claire’s 1945 husband, we know that the Duke is an ally or patron of Black Jack (also played by Menzies).

Jamie hopes the Duke can lift the price on his head and, it appears either he or Claire tell him what Horrocks revealed in the previous episode: that Black Jack killed the man Jamie is accused of killing.

A brief clip from Saturday’s episode proves that Claire may have mentioned Black Jack’s culpability.

However, what was the duel about? And, what does the Duke mean when he asked for a favor from Jamie? Will this be answered in the episode or not?

According to E!, the coming episode will reveal someone is pregnant. In the previous episode, young Laoghaire (Nell Hudson) flirted with Jamie and offered herself up to him, wearing only a corset under her cloak by the creek. However, he turned him down. Could he have gone back?

In another clip uploaded to the show’s Facebook page, Geillis (Lotte Verbeek) explains to Claire about how fairies take children and swap them for changelings. The two had stumbled upon a crying baby in the woods. It may be related to the pregnancy. However, Geillis is having none of it.

Will Claire's nursing instincts save another child, or land her in trouble? Watch this clip from the next episode of Outlander.

The second half of the season is set to be a dark one as executive producer Ronald D. Moore has previously said. According to E!, Menzies has also said the show will get darker, expressing some regret at what can be assumed is the even more brutality by Black Jack.

But, we will also get to learn more about Jamie. Heughan said in an interview earlier this year, the second half of the series will shift focus more on Jamie’s background, according to Yahoo Celebrity.

"In the second part of the season, there is a lot more about Jamie. He's finding his place in the world. He has new responsibilities. He's got to deal with relationships he'd rather not deal with — his sister, his dead father,” Heughan explained. “We start to see his stubborn side, his pride. He's less idealistic. We start to see the chinks in the armor. He's very vulnerable and he learns a lot."
