Before you think about settling down with a special someone, you may want to find out if your potential love interest has an affinity for grilled cheese sandwiches.

Why?

Well, according to a new study, grilled cheese lovers have more sex and bigger hearts compared to those who don't like the classic American sandwich.

The survey, which was conducted by the dating social network site Skout, found that 32 percent of grilled cheese lovers reported having sex at least six times a month, compared to only 27 percent of grilled cheese haters who said they have sex that often.

In addition, 73 percent of those who said they like the sandwich had sex at least once each month, while only 63 percent of those who don't fancy the cheesy sandwhich had sex at least once a month, reports Fox News.

The findings also discovered that grilled cheese fans are more generous and adventurous being that 81 percent of pro-cheesers said that they have donated their time, money or food to help the less fortunate. On the other hand, only 66 percent of those who dislike grilled cheese report helping the needy.

And if that's not convincing enough, 84 percent of grilled-cheese-sandwich lovers are also more adventurous and likely to travel, compared to 78 percent of non-lovers.

The survey also found that American cheese is most favored by U.S. eaters. Forty-one percent of respondents said that American cheese is their top pick, followed by cheddar at 33 percent, mozzarella at 10 percent, Swiss at 8 percent, provolone at 6 percent and brie with only 2 percent.

In the meantime, white bread was the most popular bread with 51 percent of those surveyed, then wheat at 29 percent, sourdough at 13 percent, rye at 4 percent and baguette at 3 percent.

The global dating network, which surveyed 4,600 people, released the fun findings right before National Grilled Cheese Day, which is Sunday, April 12, reports The New York Daily News.
