Last week, "American Idol" alum Fantasia Barrino took to Instagram to announce the death of her grandmother, Addie Collins, who she described as the strongest woman she knows after her mother and her aunt, Christian Post reports.

Barrino posted several photos of her late grandmother and her funeral that took place on Wednesday, April 8.

In the midst of expressing her grief toward her grandmother's death on Instagram, Barrino also used the social media platform to seemingly announce the end of her marriage with Kendall Taylor.

Barrino posted and then later deleted an Instagram photo of her wedding rings. She captioned the photo with a goodbye message for Taylor, says MStarz.

"It is done. ... The kids and I will always love you. I got to stay strong for Granny. ... He was the best man I knew. Kendall you are loved."

Though neither Taylor nor Barrino have confirmed the split, it is assumed from what was written in the caption that they are no longer together.

Barrino and Taylor tied the knot in October 2014 following Barrino's tumultuous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, Liberty Voice reports.

Barrino's rocky relationship with Cook was documented on her VH1 reality TV, show "Fantasia for Real."

On the show, Cook's wife, Paula was filmed filing a lawsuit against Barrino for allegedly coming in between their marriage.

Cook later broke up with Barrino for his wife,  which evidently left the "Free Yourself" singer to deal with the public embarrassment.

Despite her past troubles with love, Barrino went on to marry Taylor, and the two appeared to be very happy together and in love.

Liberty Voice claims that Taylor is a savvy business man who was honored at the Lowe's Pride Awards as the MBE of Distinction Winner for his successes in business.
