Adele has reportedly delayed her anxiously awaited third studio album, which is rumored to be titled "25," again.

According to Daily Star, the British singer, who currently resides in Malibu, California, wants to go on a road trip with 2-year-old son Angelo because she "wants to see some of the 'real' America." It is unknown whether boyfriend Simon Konecki will join them or not.

An insider claimed that Adele plans to drive 2,000 miles to Nashville, Tennessee, where she can "visit some of the 'honky tonk' bars, listen to live music, soak up the history and basically do her own thing."

Moreover, the "Someone Like You" crooner supposedly wants to go on the road without fancy accommodations. She'll reportedly stay at cheap motels and meet strangers who do not know who she is.

"Adele finds Nashville very inspiring. It is an iconic destination and full of music history," the insider said. "But she also wants to remain low-key."

As a result, Adele's latest project has allegedly been pushed back to the end of this year.

It all makes sense for the "Rolling in the Deep" hit maker to visit Nashville, since Kelly Clarkson revealed last month in an interview with The Wall Street Journal she heard that Adele is "doing something more country influenced with this next record."

In addition, Adele has reportedly been working with legend Phil Collins on the upcoming LP.

Mirror previously reported that the talented duo actually began collaborating on the record at the end of 2013. However, Collins never heard back from his fellow Brit and assumed she had subbed him.

However, Collins is back in the picture, as a source revealed to Q Magazine, "Over the past few months, Phil has been working on the tracks once again."

"Adele put all her work on hold for a while, so it wasn't anything personal. It was just delayed," the source added. "She did tell Phil that she was prioritizing her personal life at that time, but now that she's back in work mode their track is happening once again."
