Apple warmed us up to the idea of a different sized iPhone when the company released the longer iPhone 5. Before we know it, the size will probably increase again when the coveted iPhone 6 makes its way to the shelves in 2014 -- possibly as early as June.

The reports about the iPhone 6 should be taken with a grain of salt considering how early it is as well as the fact that Apple always remains quiet in the time leading up to the launch; the sources of information is not always perfect when it is not coming directly from Apple. However, based on previous releases by Apple, the speculation quickly turns into solid proof when people start to post photos and videos that have been leaked from Apple.

With the next iPhone already on the horizon, let's take a look at some of the things we can expect in the next release. Firstly, check with your service provider to determine the best time to get a new iPhone -- you might want to wait until a little while after the release, depending on demand as well as your own contract.

Some new features to expect with the next iPhone include a longer and wider screen. Remember, the iPhone 5 was great because it was longer; this one is going to be increased in both width and length. Bloomberg had reported that the tech giant was testing out two new iPhones -- one with a 4.7 inch screen and one with a 5.5 inch screen.

In addition, Apple fans can expect a better camera this time around to build on top of the iPhone's already amazing camera. It is without a doubt that the iPhone 6 will have a stunning camera display.

Next, the operating system will most likely get a boost -- as it did with the iPhone 5s and 5c -- and this time with iOS 8 we could expect a much smoother introduction after a rocky start to iOS 7.
