Roseanne Barr, the actress known for '90s sitcom "Roseanne" revealed she is going blind.

The 62-year-old also said that she turns to marijuana for relief of the pressure in her eyes.

Barr told The Daily Beast that she has macular degeneration and glaucoma, and she credits marijuana with helping to relieve some of the pressure in her eyes.

"I have Macular degeneration and glaucoma, so [marijuana is] good for me for that because I have pressure in my eyes," Barr said.

Barr said that eventually she will go blind from the conditions.

When asked if doctors know when she will completely lose her eyesight, Barr said they do not know yet.

"No, they can't. My vision is closing in now," Barr said. "It's something weird. But there are other weird things. That one's harsh, 'cause I read a lot, and then I thought, 'Well, I guess I could hire somebody to read for me and read to me.' But I like words and I like looking. You do what you have to do. I just try and enjoy vision as much as possible -- y'know, living it up. My dad had it, too."

Barr says that using marijuana helps her "open up her mind" and releases people from mind control. Barr has often referred to politicians as being corrupt and trying to control minds.

Barr has been an advocate for the legalization of marijuana and even smokes it on camera in her documentary, "Roseanne for President!" The documentary is about Barr's 2012 campaign to be President of the United States. The documentary is premiering this week at the Tribeca Film Festival.

When asked what she thought about a woman in the White House, Barr said the sex of the president does not bother her, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"I would rather see the first intelligent, honest American president," Barr said. "I don't care what's in their shorts."
