With new innovations in technology, IGN has reported about a few that will particularly involve the classic game "Minecraft."

For starters, "Minecraft," which was bought by Microsoft last year, has been given new capabilities for Microsoft's own HoloLens, which will enable users to use a 3-D version of the game within the comfort of their home, just applying the lens and clicking their fingers around their room. Of course, some of this technology is still a few years away, it will no doubt be a game-changer.

Something that's really cool is the new Leap Motion controller, which provides interactive control at the PC by simply placing the controller in front of the keyboard. This device gives the user motion control with 10 points of interaction, which identifies hands, fingers and wrists. "Minecraft" has already integrated with this technology, so go ahead and give it a try.

Similarly, the Myo Armband connects to the user and detects muscular activity, motion and orientation. Hackers have already integrated this with "Minecraft" and the results have been somewhat interesting.

In terms of virtual reality that is available now, Oculus Rift has given the gamer's world a whole new plateau to work with.

It basically gives the user motion and sensory control, not just sitting still either. "Minecraft" has already been integrated for this technology and O.R. can be used in conjunction with a plethora of other technologies to immerse you in the ultimate gaming experience.

Virtuix Omni, however, takes the VR stage a little further and puts your legs into the action so that you may virtually walk around in the VR world you're engaged in.

HTC Vive is the Valve alternative in VR featuring two screens and a 90 frame per second refresh rate, which will allow you to walk around in a 15x15 foot area. It won't release until later this year.

You can also expect a more direct "Minecraft" integration on Xbox Kinect, now that they are all under the same corporate umbrella.

The Virtusphere, which you can expect to spend a vast amount of money on, basically puts you inside a ball where you run, jump and roll in the game.
