The fifth leg of The Voice USA has crowned a champion in the form of the competition's 28-year old Jamaican singer.

Team Adam Levine's Tessanne Chin has been crowned the winner and champion of The Voice USA Season 5 during Tuesday night's episode.

Although the singer who hails from Kingston, Jamaica had to wait alongside Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee for two grueling hours, the result was worth it.

The results night was filled with guest performances starting off with an opening number by the Top 20 contenders. Guest performers include Paramore, Celine Dion, Aloe Blacc, One Republic, Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga who was joined in by one of the mentors, Christina Aguilera.

The Top 20 performed "Tonight is the Night," in time for the results episode that will finally reveal the champion of the competition. The opening act was then followed up by several equally thrilling performances in the following sequence:

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Jacquie Lee, Matthew Schuler, Caroline Pennell, Cole Vosbury, James Wolpert

"Love Can Move Mountains" by Tessanne Chin and Celine Dion

"Wagon Wheel" by Will Champlin, Jonny Gray, Pennell and Austin Jenckes

"Wake Me Up" by Will Champlin and Aloe Blacc

"I Live" by One Republic

"Ain't it Fun" by Jacquie Lee and Paramore

"Treasure" by Josh Logan, Nick Hawk, Matthew Schuler, Ray Boudreaux and Preston Pohl 

"My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kat Robichaud, Shelbie Z, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Amber Nicole, Tamara Chauniece and Gray

"Hold On, I'm Coming" by James Wolpert , Preston Pohl, Olivia Hencken and Gray

"Do What U Want" by Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera

The top 3 finalists for The Voice USA Season Five were then called on to stage for the poll results. Team Adam Levine's Will Champlin whose wife and daughter beamed with pride among the audience ranked third.

The announcement left only Lee and Tessanne vying for the title. Eventually, Carson Daly proclaimed the Jamaican beauty 'The Voice,' leaving Lee on the second spot.

The top 3 finalists reportedly received a gift from Santa in the form of a new car. Tessanne won a recording contract with Universal Music on top of the car and the title.

The big night ended with the champion performing "Tumbling Down" by Ryan Tedder.

The Voice Season 6 will kick off February with Shakira and Usher replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as mentors.
