Told in another storybook fashion, "Once Upon a Time" returns on April 26 with an all-new episode that features some of our most beloved characters facing more real-world challenges and tying them in with the classics.

According to Spoilers Guide, after everyone finds out about Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) potential for darkness, they loom over her with an abundance of caution. But Emma doesn't let that stop her when she finds out that Maleficent's (Kristin Bauer van Straten) daughter Lily (Agnes Bruckner) is in fact her closest childhood friend from her days in foster care.

Emma soon joins forces with Regina (Lana Parrilla) to find Lily, and to also warn Robin (Sean Maguire) about Zelena (Rebecca Mader). Their journey, however, is met with harsh real-world challenges outside of Storybrooke that they are less than prepared to deal with.

In a flashback, we will see that Emma is getting happy with her new family. That is, of course, until Lily shows up. Her presence threatens the stability of her new family and seems to foreshadow looming consequences ahead.

But this episode, titled "Lily," is not only focused on the Emma and Lily affair. In Storybrooke, Gold will face a crisis, one that also involves Belle (Emilie de Ravin).

Show creator Adam Horowitz has been teasing some of the dialogue in the upcoming episode on his Twitter Page, which includes a discussion between Emma and Regina about taking the road trip in their search for Lily. It also shows Hook warning Emma to be careful, but she responds with futility.

Since its debut on ABC on Oct. 23, 2011, the show has been met with somewhat critical success. While Metacritic gave it a 66 out of 100, the series premier actually garnered 12.93 million viewers, which is considerably high for a premier episode.
