This Saturday’s episode of “Outlander,” titled “The Watch,” will be a tantalizing one. Unlike last week’s episode, which lacked action and focused more on the past, the new episode will move the story forward with both drama and action.

Last week’s episode, “Lallybroch,” brought Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) back to Jamie’s home and he started his role as laird. However, he had first to make up with his sister Jenny (Laura Donnelly).

Although the episode seemed it would end on a positive note, since the siblings made up, it did not. Claire awoke to find a group of men aiming their weapons at Jamie. These men are part of the Watch, mercenaries who do anything for money, including turning in wanted suspects or fugitives to the Redcoats.

However, Saturday’s episode will change it up, increasing the tension, according to the synopsis: “Jamie finds himself between a rock and a hard place when a redcoat deserter from his past resurfaces. Claire tends to a laboring Jenny while Jamie and Ian join The Watch on an ambush, resulting in devastating consequences.”

The preview released by Starz show how the couple handled the situation with the Watch. It appears that the Redcoat deserter may be Horrocks (Lochlann O’Mearain), the man who revealed Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) was the one who killed instead of Jamie. Horrocks knows Jamie has a price on his head and, as the preview shows, his pardon has not been approved yet.

E! News does not provide much information about what to expect from “The Watch,” but they also say that Jenny will go into labor. Hopefully, Jenny’s delivery goes well.

Towards the end of the above clip, we see Ian (Steven Cree) and Jamie apparently in battle, Ian having injured or killed someone and holding a bloody sword. This coincides with the synopsis, explaining the two joined the Watch, though it appears their mission turned bad at some point.

In a brief clip released by Starz, Jamie and Claire have an intimate moment, in which she reminds him he needs to return. Otherwise, she will hunt him down and “drag him back by his thick red curls.”

Although their moment is intimate and warm, E! News predicts the episode will not end well for the couple, hinting at Black Jack’s possible return.

"Outlander" airs Saturday nights at 9 p.m. on Starz.
