Cinco De Mayo is in full swing across the country and in NYC, the parties are just getting started.

On Tuesday, May 5, the Sunset Park celebration is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is a free festival and you can enjoy folkloric performances by the Mexican Ballet, games, health screenings, give-aways and children can do arts and crafts.

Starting on Thursday, running all the way through May 17, Bronx Week is celebrated with the Centenarian Celebration, Bronx Bankers breakfast, a trolley tour for food and farms, and the 2015 Bronx Walk of Fame inductees. The induction ceremony will wrap up the festival on May 17 and will include a parade, a festival and a concert.

You can also attend the festival in Queens on May 10, which is always a lot of fun with shows, food and special celebrations.

In Manhattan, be sure to check out the Dance Parade on May 16, which is live and free. The event is on 21st and Broadway from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., which is followed by the Dancefest from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Thompson Square Park.

Across the river in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Cuban Day will host a parade on May 17 starting at 1 p.m. It will start at New Point Road and Elizabeth Avenue, going all the way up to Windfield Scott Park/City Hall.

According to International Business Times, they have ranked some of the best restaurants and bars to go to during the holiday.

Their top designation is Dos Caminos, which has four locations in Manhattan. But the best one is the location in the meatpacking district since it has an outdoor café.

Other locations include Empellon Cocina, The Black Ant, La Palapa and La Lucha NYC. These are a mix of restaurants and bars, which are favored for the holiday celebrations.
