For those who came out in droves to see the premiere of "Fifty Shades of Grey" on the big screen, the first question you need to ask yourself is: Did you stay through the credits?

If you watched the whole movie, then you already know how it ended. Chances are you already knew how it ended based on the book you likely read before going to see the movie. But there was also an alternate ending to the movie.

Movie Pilot showed off the scene, but those who purchase the film when it is released on Blu-rays, DVDs and online formats can see it then. Or you can continue reading to learn what happened.

This ending takes place after Ana has been whipped with the belt and decides she does not want what Christian is offering. Her departure includes her getting into the elevator and saying his name, which mirrors the way they met. The magical moment they arrived at their soon-to-be relationship, which would turn into a BDSM pain-flogged relationship (and also end there).

The new ending, however, gave the two characters a much more emotional departure, which included a montage of shots from their past, which seem to be weighing on their mourning.

Ana lies in bed and cries. Christian stares off into space during a business meeting, meaning the relationship with Ana has taken a toll on his professional life. The montage of their past is interconnecting, set against the music of Jessica Ware's "Say You Love Me."

As reported by Cinema Blend, director Sam Taylor-Johnson's theatrical ending was a very abrupt one. Fans can get the alternate ending when the movie releases on DVD and Blu-ray.
