“Rookie Blue,” a Canadian-based police drama starring Gregory Smith of “Everwood” fame and Missy Peregrym, will have its Season 6 premiere on ABC on June 25.

Last season had the newbies officers at 15 Division delving into their pasts and preparing to move forward.

A media release for the series explains that in the coming season, the characters “will have to learn to embrace living in the gray areas, because life is complicated and the best laid plans are just that. But sometimes it's the unpredictable things life throws our way that turn out to be exactly what we need.”

According to TV Fanatic, Peregrym, who some viewers might recognize from her recurring role in “Heroes,” was asked about her character Andy's biggest weakness or flaw, and she responded by bringing up her action-oriented sense of duty and understanding.

“I think Andy really likes to kind of go and get it," Peregrym said. "Whatever she wants or whatever she thinks she needs to do. I think she has great intentions but she's just going to go for it.”

“I think she's empathetic to a flaw,” said the 32-year-old actress and model.

Though she is obviously great at working on an intense drama, Peregrym revealed a real taste for lighter fare. When asked what kind of shows she would like to be part of if she were not on her current series she said she'd go for something different.

“I think I'm more keen to do comedic type things because of what I work on now," she said. "I really enjoy 'New Girl.' I think that show is hysterical. It's idiotic and that's fun. But I also like 'Girls' which is a total different type of comedy but I appreciate it very much."

As reported by Spoilers Guide, Season 6 of "Rookie Blue" will premiere on Thursday, June 25 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
