Has Selena Gomez been bitten by the love bug again? Some new developments have some wondering if the star is building a relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber's pal, Romeo Miller, also known as Lil' Romeo.

This week Miller, 24, posted a photo of Gomez, 21, onto his Instagram page sporting one of his sweatshirts.

"I live for the nights that I can't remember with the people that I won't forget. #romeeverything," Miller said in the photo's caption.

Gomez may be interested in giving Miller a chance, rumors report. A MediaTakeOut.com "insider" said that Miller has been trying to romance Gomez since she her break-up with Bieber, 19. According to the site, Miller and Gomez have already "hung out" within a group of friends as well as gone on a few dates together.

"[Miller] has been asking her out over and over," the source said. "She's always shut him down ... but she's not shutting him down anymore."

Other sources, on the other hand, disagree. A Gossip Cop source "close" to Gomez says that the two are only friends, there is "no truth" behind the rumors and that MediaTakeOUt.com's report is a "ridiculous story."

"It's not true," a HollywoodLife.com source who is "close to" Gomez said as well.

According to Perez Hilton, Miller is "pals" with Bieber, but this does not appear to be stopping Miller from expressing his interest in the "Slow Down" singer. In August, the son of Master P was very blunt when asked what he wanted for his birthday.

"How about a hot date with Selena Gomez?" Miller said according to Perez Hilton.

Just what about Gomez gets Miller to forget his "I don't need a girlfriend" mantra made popular by his 2001 debut hit "My Baby?"

"Selena, she's like the girl version of me, man," Miller continued. She's amazing."

Gomez should have plenty of time to pursue, or reject, a relationship with Miller as she recently canceled her Australian tour.

"It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be," the singer said in a statement.
