There will be more drama in the season finale of "Jane the Virgin" on Monday night as Jane gives birth.

Season 1 of the CW comedy will end as Jane finally goes into labor after the waitress and aspiring writer accidentally became pregnant, despiter her vow of abstincence until marriage, from an artificial insemination at the beginning of the seaon.

According to executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman, "many, many dramatic things" will happen in "Chapter Twenty-Two," reports Variety.

"There are some real moments of labor and there are some moments she thinks are labor. And the bus definitely plays a huge part," teased the showrunner. "I felt like I wanted the finale to come full circle. We started with Jane processing the information that she was pregnant on the bus, and her father -- that she didn't know was her father at the time -- talking to her and coaching her through. So we wanted to tie that moment back into the finale," she said.

Urman also dropped hints about the future of Jane's love triangle with Rafael and Michael.

"I think she is at a place right now of friendship with both [Rafael and Michael]. And at this moment, with the information that she has, with her headspace as it is, she's very careful. She made an impulsive move at the beginning of the season when she felt this connection with Rafael and broke up with Michael and went for it. And we watched as reality crept into the fantasy. Because of that experience, Jane is not going to rush headlong into anything without being very thoughtful and deliberate and careful with her emotional life and the other people involved and their emotional lives."

The EP went on to hint that season two will include "some very interesting, very explosive, and (in our quirky and funny way), big developments," she said.

Actress Andrea Navedo, who plays Xo, also teased that Season 1 will end with twists, turns and "three titillating cliffhangers."

"The finale is going to be fantastic. It is so well-written," Navedo told PEOPLE. "It really ties in the whole season and has a beautiful connection to the first episode. And there are three titillating cliffhangers. It is just so good."

In light of the finale, The CW released a sneak peek showing Jane speaking to her mother over the phone on a public bus after she starts having contractions.

According to Carter Matt, the synopsis reads as follows:

"After having false labor, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) insists that Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) go to Las Vegas to perform their show, but once they are gone the labor turns very real. Xo does everything she can to get back to help Jane, but ends up making Rogelio feel like he's not part of the family. The truth about Michael (Brett Dier) and Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) feelings for each other, and Jane, are put aside to help make Jane's labor easier. With the good news on the birth of Jane's baby, Alba (Ivonne Coll) is excited to tell her special friend. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) learns some very important information that concerns Rafael, leaving her to decide if she should tell him."

Season 1, Episode 22 of "Jane The Virgin," entitled "Chapter Twenty-Two," will air on Monday, May 11, on The CW.
