"X-Men: Apocalypse" has released a casting notice that reveals may reveal two new characters.

The casting call suggests that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Channing Tatum's Gambit will most likely make appearances in the film. It states, "It has all lead to this. All of the battles (both outside and within the group), action, relationships and time travel that the uncanny X-Men have endured have led to this, their biggest story ever -- 'X-Men: Apocalypse.' Following the universe changing events of 2014's 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' comes this epic mutant adventure and with it a number of casting opportunities for performers of all ages."

The call continues, "'X-Men: Apocalypse' will follow the super powered mutants battling their most powerful foe yet, the devious and devastatingly dangerous Apocalypse. This legendary villain uses his incredible abilities to alter his physical form, access other mutant superpowers and telekinesis to recruit a cult-like group called the Four Horsemen to be his servants and do his bidding in an all out war against the X-Men."

The casting call also names the actors involved in the project and the names of Jackman and Tatum are in the call. The film is one of the most anticipated for next year and director Bryan Singer has already teased audiences via twitter showing pictures of Jean Grey, Nightcrawler and James MvAvoy, who has finally gone bald for his interpretation of Professor Xavier. The movie is currently in production and for months Jackman and Tatum have been rumored for the film. However, nothing has been confirmed.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is currently in production and the film stars Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games") as Mystique, Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender ("Shame") as Magneto, Golden Globe nominee James McAvoy ("Atonement") as Charles Xavier, Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman ("Les Misérables") as Wolverine, Golden Globe nominee Rose Byrne ("Adult Beginners") as Moira MacTaggert, Nicholas Hoult ("A Single Man") as Beast, Olivia Munn ("The Newsroom") as Psylocke, Sophie Turner ("Game of Thrones") as Jean Grey, Kodi Smit-McPhee ("The Road") as Nightcrawler, Alexandra Shipp ("Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B") as Storm, Tye Sheridan ("Mud") as Cyclops and Golden Globe nominee Oscar Isaac ("A Most Violent Year") as the villain Apocalypse.

The film is set to be released on May 27, 2016.
