Dominican "Orange Is the New Black" star Dascha Polanco was in a festive mood in New York City as she celebrated landing the cover of Latina Magazine.

On Monday night, the "OITNB" favorite rang in the night with Hennessy Privilége at an intimate dinner reception at CATCH NYC. Polanco was accompanied by her "OITNB" co-stars Vicky Jeudy and Matt McGorry.

Polanco and pals reportedly dined on Salmon a La Plancha, Grilled Asparagus and "Hit Me" Chocolate Cake as well as signature Hennessy Privilége cocktails Neat, JalaPiña and Latitude.

When she's not acting within the confines of "OITNB's" Litchfield Penitentiary, the celebrated actress likes to be social and out on the scene.

Following the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Polanco attended an after-party featuring Colombian reggaeton star Reykon, a.k.a. "El Lider," at Mansion Nightclub on South Beach, Miami. Polanco, along with 400 guests, danced the night away to not only Reykon's jams, but beats spun by some of the hottest DJs, including DJ Africa and DJ Sucio.

As for "OITNB," Season 3, Daya (Polanco) and Bennett (Matt McGorry) continue to turn up the heat and can't keep their hands off of each other. Laura Prepon's Alex is going to resurface in a big way after barely appearing last season and Piper (Taylor Schilling) deals with a broken engagement, and "Crazy Eyes" (Uzo Aduba) keeps bringing the laughs.

"I think there's more drama. ... It's consistent with the same foundation of revisiting backstories and new visitors coming into jail, but you get to see a lot of testing of things...and pushing things to the limits to see what extent you either survive or give up," she told People.

In addition to Polanco, Schilling, Prepon, Aduba, the returning cast includes Lori Petty, Diane Guerrero and Jackie Cruz, among others, as well as the arrival of Ruby Rose's Stella Carlin as well as Lori Petti's Lolly, who had a brief appearance in season two.

"Orange Is the New Black" returns June 12 on Netflix. Check out a video featuring People's interview with Polanco who describes the evolution of her character Daya.
