Most people have some demons in their closets, but usually that's figuratively speaking -- not literally.

In the spooky prequel, "Insidious: Chapter 3," the demons find their way out of the closet and even try to steal your soul!

From the producers of "The Purge" and "Sinister" comes a new chapter in the terrifying horror series, "Insidious: Chapter 3." The chilling prequel is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell who tests the limits of human versus the supernatural world.

"Insidious: Chapter 3," "set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity."

Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) seems to lead a normal teenager life, what with a crush on her neighbor Hector and some worries about getting into a theater arts-based school. Yet, she is suffering from the loss of her mother and is in store for a lot more challenges that will test her emotionally, physically and spiritually.

"My Best Friend's Wedding" and "About Schmidt" actor Dermot Mulroney plays Quinn's father and is also mourning the loss of his wife and is struggling with raising two children on his own. Does he have the strength to help his daughter and take on the demons? Stay tuned!

In addition to Shaye, Scott and Mulroney, the cast of "Insidious Chapter 3" includes Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell and Hayley Kiyoko.

On Friday, June 5, Focus Features will release the third installment of the "Insidious" saga, "Insidious: Chapter 3."
