"I Bet" singer Ciara recently failed at her first attempt to give a male fan a lap dance during her concert in Atlanta on Wednesday, May 13.

The Boombox reports that during her concerts, Ciara often picks a male fan from the audience to join her onstage for a lap dance.

Ciara normally begins the lap dance by doing a headstand into a roll, landing in the fan's lap.

And though Ciara's lap dance combo usually goes off without a hitch, her most recent attempt in Atlanta resulted in an accidental kick in her fan's face.

E! News reports that as Ciara's legs were up in the air, she accidentally kicked her fan in the face as she attempted to propel herself onto his lap. Despite getting hit, the fan still had a smile on his face, and Ciara successfully landed on his lap the second time around.

One of Ciara's fans that was in the audience at the time managed to film the mishap and posted the video to Instagram with the caption, "The moment when you had too much to drink and you're giving bae a lap dance... #Ciara #JackieTour #Atlanta."

Though Ciara has not responded to the jokes that fans have made about her Atlanta lap dance performance, she is responding to Beyonce's Beyhive fans that have slammed her for an interview she recently had with the Guardian, Design & Trend reports.

When asked to explain why she isn't as big of a household name as Rihanna or Ciara despite selling over 23 million records, Ciara told the Guardian, "Everything's about timing. I've had records just as big as those artists. I've had No. 1 songs around the world. My biggest competition is me."

Ciara also explained that she doesn't see herself as any less than Beyonce or Jay Z.

"There's no doubt in my mind how high up this train can go. I faced those challenges," she said. "I don't see myself beneath Beyoncé and Jay Z; I don't see myself above them. I'm in my own world. Hungry to grow."

Following her interview, Beyonce's fans flooded Ciara's Instagram account with messages of hate for the "Jackie" singer, which prompted her to clap back with an Instagram message that explained how "sad" it is that Beyonce's fans want to pit her against Beyonce.
