Lipton Tea has joined Pepsi and Unilever to launch its first ever Be More Tea festival, which will premiere on October 24 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, South Carolina, Billboard reports.

Lipton Tea's first ever Be More Tea festival was created as a way to honor the company's 125th anniversary. In addition to the festival, Lipton Tea will also be giving away free trips to the festival from May 18 to Sept. 19.

Fans can visit the official Be More Tea festival website to learn more about the giveaway.

According to Billboard, the confirmed artists to perform at the Be More Tea festival include Passion Pit, The Roots, Walk the Moon and St. Lucia. The festival will be produced by Track Marketing Group and booked by music agency RPM.

Melanie Watts, Lipton's director of marketing, recently spoke to Billboard about why the company chose to create its own unique festival as opposed to endorsing another popular festival.

Watts explained that "after a lot of consideration, we said, 'you know what, this is really special for us.' We wanted to create a one-of-a-kind Lipton experience."

Watts went on to describe the festival as a neighborhood block party with a carnival vibe.

According to Watts, the Be More Tea festival will include "food, attractions, games and rides," alongside several tea-based tasting booths that will showcase all of Lipton's teas such as its traditional hot tea along with its recently launched sparkling iced tea.

In addition to serving non-alcoholic drinks at the festival, Be More Tea will also have tea-based cocktails that guests can enjoy, Watts revealed.

According to the Be More Tea press release obtained by KCEN TV, the Be More Tea festival is a way to spread Lipton's philosophy and message of fun and acceptance to its consumers.

"The one-day event hopes to inspire attendees to Be More Tea, the brand's philosophy that encourages people to take time to engage with others and enjoy the world around them," reads the press release. "With Lipton tea, people can unlock experiences, creativity and inspiration, whether it's playtime, mealtime, travel time or any time in between."
