“Agent Carter” fans have a lot more to look forward to when the Marvel show returns to the small screen next year.

It was Hayley Atwell herself, who revealed during the recently held Comicpalooza in Houston, that Peggy Carter’s titular TV series will have 10 episodes, which is a great feat, considering that the pilot season had eight episodes.

Plus, Atwell also hinted on some key details about the show’s plot when it returns. Apparently, she had a good talk with the show runners in order to find out particularly what it is that “Agent Carter” fans want to see.

“What was very exciting is, in the second season, she has grieved over Steve,” Atwell revealed, according to Digital Spy. “She is now about to embark on a new adventure in her life. So, she is in a much better place. In terms of where she is, it is going to be a lot lighter for her. There is going to be more humor to her and more warmth. She is not struggling so much with her identity.”

Peggy’s transfer from New York City to Los Angeles involves what is considered to be her most dangerous assignment yet, as stated by ABC in the official synopsis of “Agent Carter” season 2.

Apparently, “the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sown to protect,” quoted IGN.

It is also highly likely that Peggy will be meeting new friends after her transfer to a new location. Sadly, no details have been provided since Atwell is the only star listed for “Agent Carter” season 2 as of the moment.

It remains unknown whether season 1 stars, Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie and James D’Arcy as Jarvis, will be returning to reprise their roles, but Atwell has called out Fonseca on Twitter, hinting on an impending reunion. “See you sooooon darling @LyndsyMFonseca! X,” Atwell wrote.

During Comicpalooza, Atwell also added that the new L.A. location is evidence that "Agent Carter" show runners want to move the show "forward." "So, it is going to be set in LA and, with 10 episodes, it is going to be a very glamorous, dark world of 1940s Los Angeles. I think it might be touched upon a little bit about her background. I think we want to move it forward so the audience feels like we are taking them on a new journey."
