There are plenty of ways to celebrate Memorial Day across the U.S. this year.

Parades and celebrations offer friends and family a chance to get together and enjoy Memorial Day, while remembering fallen soldiers.

In New York, there are several parades and celebrations to attend Monday, according to Fleet Week New York.

The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Day Observance will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Soldiers and Saliors Monument in Manhattan. The event will include military personnel and a memorial service. The event is free and open to the public.

In Queens, there is the Allied Veterans Memorial Parade from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of Ridgewood and Glendale. It will include military personnel and will be hosted by the Allied Veterans Organization.

In the Los Angeles area, many celebrations have been going on all weekend for Memorial Day, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade will start at 11 a.m. This is its 26th year and the theme is "Saluting the Price of Freedom." The celebration includes horses, floats, music, a car show and much more.

Boston has a unique way to celebrate Memorial Day with thousands of flags in a garden, according to Boston Discovery Guide. The Massachusetts Military Heroes organization plants 37,000 flags in a "Garden of Flags" every year. The garden can be found in front of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Boston Common.

At night, a free concert will be held starting at 5 p.m. at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common. It will feature the Boston City Singers and the Metropolitan Wind Symphony Orchestra.
