If you created the first genetically modified hybrid that was designed to be bigger than the T-Rex, you have to realize that you're not only messing with Mother Nature, but you're in store for some serious backlash.

"When you create an animal for your own amusement, it doesn't go well for humans," reiterated "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt (who plays Owen) in a featurette for "Jurassic World" called "A Look Inside."

Director Colin Trevorrow has created a frightening and "synthetic 50-ft. by 18-ft. dinosaur known as Indominus Rex," he told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview.

"There's always something around the corner that will make whatever you think is cool right now feel obsolete," he said. "And I feel like the Indominus Rex is the animal version of that."

Trevorrow added that "fans hungry for a vicious 'killer' dinosaur got what they demanded: "It's bigger, faster, louder, more vicious," he explained.

"We're going after it with everything we've got," said Pratt in "Jurassic World" as he prepares to take on the "Indominus Rex."

Pratt who had some cool motorcycle scenes, become invisible, prepped for his own stunts and learned how to whistle in the film, was honored to pay homage to the "Jurassic Park" franchise.

"As a fan of 'Jurassic Park' I feel that there's a responsibility to make sure that you are delivering something that the people who made this franchise would be proud of," he added.

As for Trevorrow, he wants to bring it back to the basics -- but we're not talking about special effects.

"My goal with this movie has always been to make adults be able to feel like they're kids again," Trevorrow pointed out in the featurette.

In addition to Pratt, "Jurassic World" stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Irrfan Khan, BD Wong, Brian Tee and Judy Greer.

"Seeing 'Jurassic World' come to life is like seeing 'Jurassic Park' come true," said "Jurassic World" Executive Producer Steven Spielberg.

Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, "Jurassic World." As mentioned, Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure, which is from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly," according to Universal. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.

"Jurassic World," shot in 3D, will be released by Universal Pictures on June 12, 2015.
