Jason Statham has recently bought a $2.7 million Hollywood Hills West home, Trulia reported, citing property records confirming the sale.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the traditional home, which was built in 1957, comes with several features. The 2,917- square-foot Midcentury Modern home resting on a quarter-acre lot includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a dining room, a living room, a breakfast area, and a large master suite.

Outside, Statham's new home showcases a saltwater swimming pool which is equipped with a spa. The actor can also walk along the property's lush grounds.

Inside, the property has a cozy master bedroom which has its own fireplace and den.

Other details the actor must have liked in the home are its spanning glass panels that provide wonderful views from the inside and the privacy the house gives through its perimeter wall.

The Hollywood Hills West property is the second home the actor bought this year. The action star already acquired another luxury home in the posh community of Beverly Hills for almost $13 million, added Trulia.

Aside from that, the English celebrity actor owns a private home in Malibu Colony worth almost $11 million.

Action Star in a Funny Film, 'Spy'

The actor, also famed for the "Expendables" and "Transporter" movies, told Esquire why he prefers to appear in action-packed movies and not comedy. Statham stars in "Spy," an action comedy film about a CIA analyst who went undercover to save the world. He must have done a good job since "Spy" writer-director, Paul Feig, commended him for his efforts.

Statham said, "I've always been apprehensive about trying to do a ******* comedy, because they're either brilliant or they're ******* terrible. At least in making an action film, there's always going to be someone who wants to see a car chase. Even if a lot of the people don't like it, there will be a lot of people that do. But bad comedy is just garbage."

"Spy" will premiere in theaters on June 5.
