In what appeared to be a comical jab toward Bill Cosby, comedian Amy Schumer performed a mock trial on her show "Inside Amy Schumer" that features a "court of public opinion," according to Time.

Recently, Bill Cosby has been plagued with allegations against him for sexual crimes that were said to be committed years ago, particularly during the height of his popularity in the '70s, '80s and early '90s.

Those allegations include former model and TV personality Janice Dickinson, who recently launched a civil proceeding against Cosby, according to TMZ. The suit does not include the rape allegations, which the statute of limitations has run out on, but rather for Cosby's reps calling her a liar after an interview she did. She is suing for defamation and emotional distress.

But Amy Schumer has taken the controversy to her show and defended Cosby by acting as his "lawyer" in front of a jury of people, as reported by Time.

The jury is subjected to comical swaying that even includes bribes from Schumer and Cosby with an obvious breach of ethical legal conduct.

"If convicted, the next time you put on a rerun of 'The Cosby Show' you may wince a little, you might feel a little pang," Schumer said in the skit. "We don't deserve to feel that pang. We deserve to dance like no one's watching and watch like no one's raping."

Schumer even brought in cake after what appeared to be her closing statement in the trial, and it was supposedly from Bill Cosby to give to the jury. A fake rep for Cosby also handed Schumer a martini, which she comically threw behind her back, referencing to the possibility that it might be laced with a drug, playing off reports from the real-life allegations against Cosby.
