Jennifer Lopez is coming back to the upcoming season of the reality singing competition series American Idol with the new music video for her latest single, "Same Girl."

The returning judge was recently spotted filming the new visual in the Castle Hill neighborhood of The Bronx, where she was dancing with female dancers, clad in tight body-hugging jeans, a black jacket and a black New York Yankees fitted cap. An undisclosed person who worked with J.Lo took Twitter to reveal what the fans can expect in the near future:

"New Video #SAMEGIRL from @JLo on the premiere of @Americanidol January 16 2014."

The song was written by Jennifer Lopez herself, in collaboration with Chris Brown and Cory Rooney. Lopez posted up a photo of the trio hitting up a recording studio back in March. She used the hashtag "#Samegirl" accompanying the snapshot.

"Yes, when we were in the studio, writing songs and just getting that whole 'Jenny from the Block' flavor back," said Lopez on collaborating with Brown in April. "We actually worked on a bunch of ideas ... and we talked about doing a duet together for his album."

The Latina mogul recently took to Instagram to show off her envious curves, while taking the 6 train in her native Bronx and shooting for her new video.

"On the 6...;) #album10 #SAMEGIRL," she wrote the following caption.

The new music video was directed by Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold, who also have previously worked with J.Lo for some of her projects.

Jennifer Lopez' new single "Same Girl" is featured in her tenth studio album, which is expected to drop later this year. The music video is reportedly scheduled to premiere on "American Idol" on Thursday, January 1.

The upcoming two-night season premiere of American Idol Season 13: The Search For A Superstar is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Jan. 15 and Thursday, Jan. 16 at 8/7c on Fox.
