The Season 4 finale of "Grimm" was the last chapter of Nick's romance with Juliette when she was killed in the final scene. It also left fans in anticipation about what will come next.

After an attack, Nick was just about to avenge his mother's murder by choking Juliette to death, which she begged him to do. However, convicted by his love for her, he could not find the strength to kill Juliette. That is when Trubel stepped in and fired two arrows into his girlfriend. Once she was shot, Nick cradled his former love in his arms while she died in their home.

Meanwhile, a mysterious Wesen FBI agent arrived at Nick's home and ordered a group of men to "get her." However, fans will have to wait until "Grimm" season 5 to find out if she was referring to either Trubel or Juliette. If she was talking about Trubel, then that may indicate that Trubel betrayed Nick when she agreed to work with Agent Chavez, who had been hounding her since the beginning of the fourth season.

However, executive producer James Kouf teased that Nick will be understanding of Trubel's split second reaction to Juliette.

"He's gotta know, being a Grimm, that she had no choice if he were to survive," he told TVLine.

Still, that will not change the fact that he will mourn the loss of his love for a long time.

"All the episodes are him, grieving. It's 12 episodes of him, alone in a room, feeling bad," co-producer David Greenwalt joked.

Greenwalt also teased that Juliette's death will change the dynamic of the show in Season 5.

"It's going to change the show's course," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I think it's going to be even darker still in a way. You know, it's not going to be the same Grimm."
