Russian model Valeria Lukyanova, better known as the self-proclaimed "Human Barbie," has some stiff competition from a new doll in town.

Not only does Angelica Kenova bear strikingly similar looks to the famous doll, but she says that she was raised to actually be a life-size Barbie.

The 26-year-old model from Moscow, Russia, says that her hyper-controlling parents have been dressing her up like a Barbie since she was six years old. To this day, they still micromanage her wardrobe, diet and exercise routine.

"Growing up, my parents raised me like a princess and never let me go out, date boys or have the usual adult experiences," said Kenova, according to The Daily Mail. "As a result, I am not fit for real life -- I'm like a living doll.

"My parents called me 'the princess.' They always bought me the best toys," she recalled, adding that they sent her to world class schools.

The blonde Eastern European model added that she is still financially dependent on her parents, and that they will not let her move out or make her own decisions.

"I'm not even allowed to buy clothes without my mum there -- she likes to choose attire that clings to my figure and emphasize my good features," she said.

However, the only thing that she was permitted to do was dress like a doll.

"I did not choose this image of a doll myself, my parents did. When I turned 6, my mum started buying me collectible Barbie dolls and enthusiastically dressing me up like one," she said.

Despite her strict upbringing, Kenova's doll-like looks have helped gain international attention. Plus, she boasts that her 20-inch waist and 32E bust is completely real.

"I have never had plastic surgery," she insists. "Cosmetic work is only necessary when an individual has serious faults with their face or body."

Kenova added that she receives tons of fan mail letters, and advises her followers to smile and love themselves.

"That is one of the secrets to natural beauty," she said.
