The DC Cinematic Universe is starting to take shape with the upcoming release of "Superman vs. Batman" next year and the current filming of "Suicide Squad," which Ben Affleck's Batman may also be appearing in as well.

But the big news of the day is the confirmed cast for the upcoming two-part "Justice League" film. This movie will be sharing the DC Cinematic Universe with other films and actors reprising their roles, respectively, according to Movie Pilot.

As we were already aware, Ben Affleck will be donning the Batman suit, and Henry Cavill will be sporting the Superman cape. We also already know that Gal Gadot will be playing Wonder Woman.

Additions to the universe and film will now include "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Ezra Miller has also been cast as Barry Allen/The Flash and Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg.

"The Borgias'" Jeremy Irons will also be joining the cast as Alfred Pennyworth, and Amy Adams, as previously seen in "Man of Steel," will be returning as Superman's love interest and hard-nosed reporter Lois Lane. Diane Lane will also be reprising her role as Martha Kent.

Although Lex Luthor was not in "Man of Steel," he will likely be making an appearance real soon. Jesse Eisenberg has been cast to fill the ruthless, cunning villain's role. We will also see Laurence Fishburne in the Superman camp as Perry White.

Now here are the rumors that have not yet been confirmed.

Jena Malone as Carrie Kelley/Robin.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ("San Andreas," "Furious 7") as Black Adam.

Lance Reddick ("The Wire") as John Stewart/Martian Manhunter

Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves.

Harry Lennix ("The Matrix: Reloaded") as General Swanwick.

In other news about the DC Cinematic Universe, Variety reports that Batman may indeed be in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" following video reports of his character filming action scenes in Toronto on top of a car.
