The top show on Netflix right now is "Daredevil," according to an article on Business Insider.

This includes the Netflix originals as well as other popular shows such as "Breaking Bad," "The Walking Dead," "Sherlock" and "House of Cards."

Although the ranking comes from the standard "star system," which is inherent on other platforms like Amazon Prime, this ranking has pulled the most weight in terms of how much people are liking the show.

It has already been reported that audience measurements have shown a lot of people streaming "Daredevil," but that does not always lend credence to whether or not people liked what they saw. In order to like a show, you have to assign a star value on a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the highest like.

Marvel's "Daredevil" has attained a 4.6 out of 5 stars on the streaming video buffet platform. That comes in one-tenth of a point higher than Netflix's previous favorite gem, "House of Cards."

Those two shows are also a strong indicator that Netflix Originals are paying off for the video streaming company. These shows, coupled with others like "Orange Is the New Black," "Hemlock Grove," "BoJack Horseman" and "Bloodline," have debuted at times when the highest increase of subscribers have come onboard.

But, there is also something to be said about timing when it comes to this ranking for "Daredevil." It is probably no coincidence that the show debuted just ahead of the cinematic release of Marvel's runaway hit sequel "Avengers: Age of Ultron." When the hype is up like that, people are more than likely going to gravitate to other material that was produced by the source.

According to Digital Trends though, the series has taken a very good turn and received genuinely good responses from the critics. Within two weeks of its April premiere, Netflix gave it a greenlight for Season 2. That indicates that the video-buffet platform likely saw some heavy numbers coming from their streaming server.
