Kris Jenner recently slammed reports that her son Rob Kardashian has checked into rehab.

Jenner told E! News that the reports are "false."

Jenner's statement about Kardashian's rehab stint follows Gossip Extra's report that Rob had plans to admit himself into rehab due his depression, anger issues, and weight problems.

Earlier this month, Gossip Extra reported that prior to going to rehab, Kardashian will spend a few days in the Delray Beach area to clear his mind before going to a near by rehab center.

The report added that Kardashian would stay in rehab for two months, and the facility he is looking at has a ban on cellphone use and outside visitation for the first month and a half.

The media outlet also claimed to have spoken to Kardashian's close friend Mark Behar who revealed that Kardashian has made the decision to cut himself off from California and his high-profile family.

"I proposed to Rob to check himself into a beachfront center in this area," Behar allegedly said. "He wants to cut himself off from California and the circus around his family. Rob is serious about it now. He doesn't like what he's become. He can stay (in the rehab center) until Christmas if he wants to."

But despite Jenner's confirmation that her son will not be going to rehab, HollywoodLife reports Kardashian is going through a tough time, which is why he has been absent from "Keeping up With the Kardashians" and the recent E! News special "About Bruce."

The HollywoodLife source claims that Rob "is in tough shape" and chose to remain out of the limelight until he figures his life out.

The source adds, "He has major depression, anger problems, and weight problems. He needs to help himself and not be on a TV show or lend his two cents on Bruce's transition."
