Marvel is set to release a slew of new films which include two big titles, namely a Spider-Man reboot and the "Ant-Man" film starring Paul Rudd.

Currently, not much is known about the 2017 Spider-Man reboot which was announced earlier this year. Now, according to a report by the Latino-Review, fans may see references to the web-slinger's solo film when "Ant-Man" hits theaters next month.

Per the publication, "In between Edgar Wright's departure and Ant-Man's production, several drafts of the script were written by writers like Adam McKay, Paul Rudd, Gabriel Ferrari, and Andrew Barrer. Apparently tweaks and re-writes went on longer than we knew about, because Ant-Man will have the first Spider-Man easer eggs of the MCU."

Apparently, the "Ant-Man" film will plant "seeds for the character" who is rumored to make his MCU debut in the upcoming film "Captain America: Civil War." Referring to the tidbit as an "unconfirmed rumor," apparently there will be mentions and/or references to Spider-Man as well as the famous OsCorp company in the "Ant-Man" film.

While the report didn't go into specific detail as to how the link will be built up, it does report that the film's antagonist, Darren Cross who doubles as Yellowjacket, will attempt to sell technology stolen from Ant-Man to organizations like the Ten Rings (Iron Man) and Roxxon (Agent Carter, Daredevil). This particular portion of the plot is believed to be the perfect opportunity to tease OsCorp.

However, until Marvel confirms these details, the news is all but speculation. Uproxx notes that the announcement of Spider-Man's entry to the MCU was report after "Ant-Man" wrapped up shooting so it's most likely that references and integration of the new film will be "the result of reshoots, ADR or both."

This is not the first time that we've heard of MCU plans being revealed in "Ant-Man," noted MCUexchange. The film has been surrounded with speculation including a surprise cameo by another Marvel character, The Falcom/Sam Wilson. It's rumored that actor Anthony Mackie will be making an appearance in the upcoming movie.
