It's often been referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but leaked documents show that the device has actually been misnamed!

A report from GSM Arena shows leaked documents of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo complete with specs and features. Based on the leaked internal product positioning documents, the Note 3 Neo will resemble the Note 2 much more than the Note 3.

According to the documents, the Note 3 Lite, aka Note 3 Neo will be 151.1mm long and in the middle of Note 2 and 3's thickness at 8.6mm. The width for the Note 3 Neo has been left blank in the document.

The Note 3 Neo will also come with the Note 2's 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display at 267 ppi as well as its 8MP rear camera and 1.9MP front-facing camera.

Unlike the Note 2, though, the Note 3 Neo is an Android 4.3 Jelly-bean phone instead of the Android ICS 4.1. The Note 3 Neo will also be packed with more smart features compared to the Note 2.

The Note 3 Neo will be more like the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in terms of smart features. The device have air view, air gesture, air command, smart pause/scroll, adapt display and sound all at its disposal.

Furthermore, Samsung's allegedly new device will come with a first in smartphone history - a hexa-core processor fueling the smartphone.

According to GSM Arena, the Note 3 Neo will be powered by the new 1.7GHz dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor. Although such specification has already been known, there is no further information available with the hexa-core processor's capacities including how it would fair off with the Snapdragon 600 and 800 chipsets.

All these news and info from the leaked documents are thrilling Samsung fans out there but the documents are cutting happiness short by an absence of a release date - or even an estimated one. Reports are betting on an MWC 2014 reveal for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
