The biggest soccer event in all of South America is almost underway.

The 2015 Copa America consists of national teams that will all be playing in Chile this time around. South America is home to some of the greatest soccer players in the world, and this tournament will be a must watch event.

Notable players such as Javier Hernandez, Diego Alves and Luis Suarez will not be playing in this Copa America.

Without further delay, here are the 10 best players at this Copa America.

10. Radamel Falcao

Colombia really does have a solid squad this year. Radamel Falcao has been involved in a lot of transfer rumors between Manchester United and Chelsea, but first, he has a continental championship to win. Colombia will need Falcao's goal scoring abilities a lot in the near future as they are in the same group as Brazil.

9. Sergio Agüero

He may only be 27 years old, but Sergio Agüero has a lot of valuable international playing experience. Agüero has represented Argentina at two FIFA World Cups as well as a Copa America. Agüero is a very smart player who can make plays for Argentina who should fit in just perfect with Messi and Tevez by his side. A Messi-Tevez-Agüero trio could very well lead Argentina to victory this summer.

8. David Ospina

Without Alves competing, David Ospina is definitely a top two goalkeeper in this tournament. He's an underrated goalie at that as well. During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Ospina played great allowing just two total goals in the knockout games against Brazil and Uruguay combined. Ospina recently won the FA Cup with Arsenal in the English Premier League.

7. Alexis Sanchez

Maybe the most underrated player in the tournament this year. Alexis Sanchez has a chance to lead his national team to glory on his home soil. Sanchez has represented the Chilean National Team in multiple World Cups in the past, and he is easily the best forward on Chile's roster. With a strong goalkeeper, balanced middle field and good defense, a lot of pressure falls on Sanchez to score goals.

6. Diego Godin

As many soccer fans already know, Luis Suarez will not be playing for Uruguay because of his biting incidents. Well, this team now lies in the hands, or foot, of Diego Godin. Godin is one of the best defenders in all of La Liga having led Atletico Madrid to a Spanish League Championships last season. Uruguay has the most Copa America champions of all-time with 15, but this will be one tough task for them as they are paired in Group B with Argentina.

5. Claudio Bravo

Easily the best goalkeeper in this competition. Chile doesn't have sharpshooters on their squad, but they do have an elite goalkeeper in Claudio Bravo. Bravo recently won the Ricardo Zamora Trophy as best goalie, becoming the first ever Chilean-born player to do so. Chile has never won the Copa America before having lost in the finals four times, but they are the host.

4. James Rodriguez

What an incredible World Cup showing it was for the young Colombian. Rodriguez may only be 23 years old, but he was actually the leading scorer of the World Cup last year having led Colombia to the knockout stage. Rodriguez has been a terrific passer with Real Madrid, and he'll be the go to guy in this Copa America for Colombia. Colombia last won the Copa America in 2001, when they were the host.

3. Carlos Tevez

Juventus won Italian Serie A this season much thanks Carlos Tevez. The 31-year-old out of Buenos Aires is a three time South American Player of the Year. Tevez is a physical player who can play multiple positions for Argentina. If Tevez can lead Argentina to a Copa America title, it would the 15th in their country's history, the most ever.

2. Neymar

Brazil has quite a task ahead of them considering starting goalkeeper Diego Alves will not be playing. Brazil always has a lot of pressure on them because they're a major soccer power, but that 7-1 beat down against Germany in the World Cup still leaves a bad taste for most Brazil fans. Can Neymar thrive without Lionel Messi by his side, or is he just another Robin? Only time will tell.

1. Lionel Messi

No surprise here. Messi is on top of the world right now having led Barcelona to a Spanish League Championship and a Copa del Rey title this year. Messi led Argentina to the 2014 FIFA World Cup championship, but lost to Germany. Messi has never won the Copa America before, and has been criticized by some for not wining enough for his country. Messi and Argentina are the favorites to win it all this year.
