Hey there race fans! We all know "Forza Motorsport 6" for Xbox One will feature unbelievably realistic graphics when its holiday season release date comes along in 2015. But along with some confirmed new additions to the car list, a new leak from Amazon indicates "Forza 6" could get an early release date months before expected.

First, the officially confirmed news about "Forza 6's" car list: According to IGN, the following cars have been added to Forza Horizon 2 Porsche expansion pack for Xbox One:

  • 1970 Porsche 914/6
  • 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3
  • 1987 Porsche 959
  • 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo
  • 2003 Porsche Carrera GT
  • 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997)
  • 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S
  • 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder
  • 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS
  • 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo

But that's not all. IGN reports that as a result of an agreement between EA, Porsche and Xbox -- which led to the expansion pack for FH2 -- official Porsche cars will be returning to the core "Forza 6" game when its released. It's not clear if any of the above Porsches will be available, but here's betting some of the newest ones, along with some classics, will.

Now, the leaked early release date: A couple of screenshots hit NeoGAF's forums on Tuesday (via VG247), one of them indicating "Forza 6's" "holiday season" release date may be closer to an end-of-summer 2015 affair.

The screenshot was taken from France's Amazon site after NeoGAF user chadskin noticed a very specific release date for "Forza 6" (and the upcoming Rise of Tomb Raider game, to boot). That release date was Sept. 18, 2015.

While fans have known "Forza 6" was on its way by the holiday season 2015, a mid-September release date would be about two months ahead of the expected release date window, meaning you'll get to test drive the new gorgeous graphics, Porsches and all the other awesome supercars, much sooner than expected.

Of course, the Xbox One "Forza 6" release date wasn't confirmed, and soon after the screenshots were taken, according to leaker chadskin, Amazon France took quickly swapped out the specific release dates for the generic Dec. 31, 2015 date. (FYI: he caught the "Rise of Tomb Raider" with a release date of Nov. 13.)

So take it with a grain of salt, though Amazon's European sites have been known to accidentally leak release details before.
