Eminem was known for battling rappers on the street before he became famous, when he was signed by Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records. Now the self-acclaimed "Rap God" is taking the battle rap from the street scene to a reality television show: he is reportedly set to launch a battle rap reality TV series.

According to comedian Jack Thriller, who is set to host UW Battle League's upcoming "High Stakes" event, the Detroit rapper allegedly asked him to host his new television show. Thriller took to his Instagram account on Thursday, Jan. 14 to post a photo of himself posing with the Marshall Mathers LP 2 rapper.

"Shoutout to my big brother SLIM SHADY for hitting me up last night and making me the new host of his battle rap reality show," he wrote the following caption. "JACKTHRILLER.COM WORDS CANT EXPLAIN THE JOY IN MY HEART @uwbattleleague@unclevinrock #doglife #thrillergang #superstarshit."

Similarly, UW Battle League also took Twitter to announce the exciting news: "Shout out to our brother @jackthriller Our movement is real #uwbattleleague #UWHighStakes."

However, shortly after, Jack Thriller deleted his Instagram post, and Slaughterhouse member Royce Da 5'9'' tweeted in response, denying Slim Shady's battle show.

"Don't believe any battle show rumors until you hear it from us," he wrote. "#SHADY @JoeBudden @JoellOrtiz @CrookedIntriago."

There is no word from Eminem himself, and no official confirmation yet regarding the "Berzerk" rapper's involvement with the reality TV series, battle rap stars, or leagues set to be involved in the show.
